I seriously love traveling with the kids. It’s so exhausting but very rewarding. I love that I can expose them to different things and they’re all such good little travelers. 95% of the time, people don’t even notice they’re on board.
Our next trip involves taking a train to NYC, which actually isn’t their first time. They were able to come see me play (NPGL) at Madison Square Garden 2 years ago for the LA Reign. This time we have the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and the Central Park Zoo on our list! I would love to do more but I’m trying to keep us as close the JFK as possible.
Later that night, we’re hopping a flight the San Fransisco. I purposely planned an 8pm flight (with lie flat seats and great cocktails) in the hopes that they will all be completely exhausted from galavanting in New York all day long and will sleep the whole way. By the time we land, it will be 2am EST. This is also a good way to get them adjusted to PST. No waking up at 5am for these babies.
Then we have 4 full days in San Fransisco to explore the amazing museums and Muir Woods, the redwoods park, while The Man works. He has a conference out there which is the whole reason for this trip. I even have hopes that we can sneak out to wine country for a day. I’m still working on that one.
